So, these Chain Reaction trainers, right? Versace’s trying to do that “streetwear” thing. Low profile, blah blah blah. I mean, they LOOK cool, I gotta admit. That chain-linked rubber sole thing? It’s kinda…out there. Reminds me of those chunky necklaces everyone was wearing back in… whenever that was. The early 2000s? Maybe? My memory’s shot, lol.
But here’s the thing that REALLY gets me. They *say* it’s inspired by their chain jewelry. Okay, cool story, Versace. But are you telling me those chains are cheap? I doubt it. So the “cheap” Versace chain thing… it’s a bit of a head-scratcher. Maybe you can find, like, a knock-off or something? Good luck with that, though, haha. You’ll probably end up with something that falls apart after a week. Trust me, I’ve been there.
Also, and this is just me being picky, but are they actually comfortable? I’ve never tried them on, so I wouldn’t know, I’m just saying, sometimes high-end shoes sacrifice comfort for looks, and that’s just not my vibe, you know? I like my feet happy.
