First off, free delivery, right? That’s always a win. I saw some travel guides – like, for Antwerp, Bruges, Ghent – which is cool if you’re planning a little trip to Belgium. “Reise Know-How CityTrip Antwerpen, Brügge, Gent,” the listing said. Sounds kinda German, which, I guess, makes sense ’cause it’s Amazon, and they’re all over the place. Plus, they’re offering a free app with it. Handy! I wonder if it’s any good though, those free apps can be hit or miss, ya know?
Then there’s the usual Amazon stuff – deals, bestsellers, Kindle books (I reeeeally need to get back into reading), gift cards, the whole shebang. They even have an “Amazon Renewed” section. Basically, used stuff that’s supposed to be like new. I’m always a little skeptical about that, personally. Like, *how* renewed is it, really?
Oh, and they have electric kettles. I was actually thinking about getting a new one ’cause mine’s kinda crusty. So, useful info, I guess.
What caught my eye though, was the noodradio. Like, a *noodradio*? Apparently, it’s a “Draagbare mini noodradio” or something. Emergency radio. Maybe I should get one, just in case, I dunno. I mean, you never know when the apocalypse is gonna happen, right? Plus it’s yellow! A little bit of sunshine in a dark time?
And then there’s the Echo Show 5. “Alexa spreekt en begrijpt nu Nederlands.” Finally! I mean, you’d think they’d have that sorted out ages ago. Asking Alexa about the weather in Maaskantje? Haha, that’s pretty niche. And, of course, you can ask her to play your tunes and tell you sports scores. I wonder if Alexa knows about obscure indie bands, or is she just gonna play the same top 40 hits everyone else plays?
Okay, and the “Gebruikt: Boeken” section (Used: Books). They’re pushing coloring books for adults and kids. “Stress Relief: Coloring Book.” I mean, yeah, coloring can be relaxing, but is it *really* gonna solve all my problems? Probably not. But hey, maybe it’ll distract me for an hour or two.
