First off, I saw this Dortmund kit, and *wow*. Seriously, Borussia Dortmund’s 2024/25 home kit? Absolute 🔥. Apparently, they’re channeling their inner ’97 Champions League vibes. And you know what? It WORKS. That classic yellow just hits different. I’m a sucker for a good throwback, and they’ve nailed it, even if I’m not exactly a Dortmund fan, y’know? It’s just… a good looking jersey.
Then there’s Portugal. Nike’s got their hands on that one, and they’re going on about “resilience” and “never giving up.” Typical marketing spiel, but hey, the jersey itself looks pretty decent. I haven’t seen it up close yet, but from the pictures online, it’s…well, it’s a Portugal jersey. Red and green, what else can you expect? (Though maybe they could’ve gotten a *little* more creative, just sayin’).
And Germany! Adidas is doing the Euros kit for them, which makes sense, seeing as they’re hosting. “Inspired by national symbols,” they say. Ugh, corporate speak. I’m kinda curious to see what that actually *means* in jersey form. Hopefully it’s not just eagles *everywhere*. That would be kinda tacky, tbh. I mean, I love Germany, but dial it down a notch, Adidas.
Oh, and Man City’s Puma kit. Saw a peek of that somewhere. It looked… Man City-ish. Blue, probably. I dunno, nothing really grabbed me. Maybe I need to see it on a player or something. It’s probably fine, but I’m not rushing out to buy it, that’s for sure. Plus, I’m more of a United fan so…yeah.
And then there’s freaking Panama! Never thought I’d be typing about Panama jerseys today, but Reebok’s apparently hooking them up with new home and away kits. They’ve even got a *new crest*! That’s kinda cool, actually. I always like seeing smaller federations getting some love in the kit department. Might have to look into that a bit more. I bet they’re pretty sweet.
