So, I’ve been snooping around (purely research, you understand!), and here’s the skinny, based on what you threw at me:
First off, there’s that Amazon.it listing. Now, I’m not fluent in Italian, but I *think* it’s saying a set with two 30ml bottles of the Eau de Toilette is going for around 66 euros. Not bad, especially if you’re looking for a gift (or, you know, a little treat yo’self moment). *BUT* that’s Eau de Toilette, not Parfum. HUGE difference, people. Eau de Toilette is lighter, doesn’t last as long… it’s the “diet” version of Bright Crystal, if you will.
Then you’ve got that random “Ask a question” blurb listing a 90ml Parfum spray for $160. Ouch. That’s definitely NOT “cheap” by my standards. They’re trying to tempt you with a 5% discount? Please. Like, I could probably find a better deal rummaging through my grandma’s attic. And who even uses “Auto-Replenish” for perfume? Unless you’re bathing in the stuff, I doubt you need it on a subscription basis.
Okay, my personal opinion kicks in here: I kinda hate how perfume pricing is all over the place. It’s like they just pull numbers out of thin air. One store will have a “sale” but it’s still more expensive than another store’s regular price. Drives me bananas!
So, is Versace Bright Crystal *cheap*? Nah, not really. You gotta be a savvy shopper. Hit up those discounters, watch for sales, and maybe even consider buying a smaller size (like that 30ml EDT) if you’re just wanting a little spritz for everyday wear. Just remember, you get what you pay for. A super-cheap Bright Crystal might be fake, or just a really watered-down version. Nobody wants that.
